Atlassian MCP is the lone clear GA item on a partner's 11-row Team '26 Europe board

Atlassian MCP is the only one of 11 Team '26 Europe announcements on LeanZero's status board with a clear generally available label. Most of the rest carry beta, early access or rollout labels, so admins should plan from each feature's status.

What happened

  • Atlassian's Service Collection roundup labels 23 items, with 16 marked GA, 3 in Open Beta and 4 in Closed EAP.
  • Atlassian's Strategy Collection post labels 5 of its 6 items Open Beta, and the sixth is Atlassian MCP again.
  • Agent Sessions, a Jira board showing which agent is working on what, is "in closed EAP" by Atlassian's own description.
  • Team '26 Europe ran at RAI Amsterdam from 6 to 8 October, after Partner Accelerate on the Monday.

Why it matters

  • contradiction Atlassian calls Insights GA in one post and a phased rollout in another, so a GA tag alone does not tell an admin whether a feature is live on their site.
  • decision Teams still running Opsgenie now have a fixed date to plan a migration against, since the roundup says support concludes on 5 April 2027.
  • cost Sentiment-based triage is priced by plan tier, because the analysis only works on Premium or Enterprise with AI turned on.

LeanZero built the status board for its recap on dev.to. It is a Forge app builder whose products include CogniRunner, Sentinel Vault and LeanZero Management [21]. The one-in-11 figure depends on which rows made the board [2]. DX AI Measurement and the Service Collection rows did not [7]. Insights did, but LeanZero kept it out of the GA count because Atlassian gave it two labels [6]. That leaves 10 of the 11 tracked announcements without a clear GA label [22].

Put the Service Collection back and the count moves the other way, to roughly 70 percent GA [23]. Outside that roundup, most of what LeanZero tracked carries a beta, early access, rollout or Soon label, according to the recap [8]. The evidence splits by collection: the Service Collection mostly shipped, and most of the other headline items LeanZero tracked did not [3][8].

Each label maps to a different planning decision. "I wouldn't schedule around anything labelled Closed EAP or Soon yet," the recap's author wrote [12]. Beta is looser. Artifacts is "in beta" and "available to all paid plans" [9], so a paid site can try it now. The recap notes that a beta can still change before GA [20]. Open beta can also arrive gradually. Code Context is reaching sites that way [10], so seeing it on a colleague's tenant says little about yours.

Dates need the same care. The recap's table uses Amsterdam time, while Atlassian's blog shows Pacific time, so some posts from 7 October display October 6 [19].

The recap also documents a test you can repeat on your own site. LeanZero confirmed that `Sentiment = Negative` is valid JQL on its two test sites, so a service desk queue can filter on it [16]. Neither site had any sentiment values yet [16]. The query parses. On those two sites it had nothing to match.

The Founder Keynote got an unplanned status change of its own. The power went out at the end, around the 90-minute mark by Computer Weekly's count [18].

For a production Jira or service desk site, I'd plan from GA labels and pilot from beta. The recap's author put it in one line: "If you're an admin and you take one thing from this: check the status label before you plan around a feature." [13]

What to watch

  • The Closing Keynote recordings, due 12 October (11 October in Atlassian's FAQ), the first account of that session beyond Atlassian's session page.
  • Whether Atlassian settles on a single label for Insights in its own posts.
  • Agent Sessions moving out of closed EAP into a beta that admins can test.
