Policy
Terms of use
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms apply when you use theclarity.today, its newsletters and its features (together, “Clarity”). By using Clarity you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
What Clarity is, and is not
Clarity summarises and analyses reporting by other publishers, with every factual claim linked to its source. Articles, headlines, summaries and answers are written by AI models under automated checks, as described in How Clarity reads. Generated images are labelled as generated.
Not advice. Nothing on Clarity is financial, investment, legal, medical, tax or other professional advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Coverage of companies, markets and assets is for information only. Check the linked sources and consult a qualified professional before acting.
Accuracy. We work to make Clarity accurate and correct errors promptly, but automated reporting can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Report an error to contact@theclarity.today.
Accounts and newsletters
- Reading is free and needs no account. You must be 16 or older to create an account or subscribe.
- Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time by writing to contact@theclarity.today, and unsubscribe from any newsletter with the link in every email.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other readers at risk.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law, or use Clarity to harass, defraud or harm anyone;
- attack, overload or probe the service, get around rate limits or access controls, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
- scrape or bulk-download Clarity beyond what our robots.txt and published feeds allow, or resell its content;
- submit to Ask Clarity content that is unlawful, or that tries to make it produce unlawful or harmful material.
Content and copyright
Clarity’s own text, design and software belong to us. You may read, share links to and quote short extracts from our articles with attribution and a link back. Quoted reporting, headlines, logos and images from other publishers remain theirs, and we link to the original.
Copyright complaints. If you believe something on Clarity infringes your rights, write to contact@theclarity.today with the URL, the work you own, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised and that your notice is accurate. We review every notice and remove or correct material where it is warranted.
Ask Clarity
Answers are generated by an AI model from the sources Clarity has gathered and may be wrong. They are limited in number per day. Do not enter personal details about yourself or others in a question. We may store questions and answers to run and improve the feature, as the privacy policy describes.
Availability, warranties and liability
Clarity is provided free, “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or stop any part of it. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those set out here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on Clarity’s content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or takes away rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country where you live.
Links to other sites
Clarity links to the reporting it cites. Those sites are run by others, under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Material changes are announced to account holders by email before they take effect, and continuing to use Clarity after that means you accept them. Questions about these terms go to contact@theclarity.today.
