Grayscale's Zcash ETF would erase its net inflows within eight trading days at late-September redemption rates

Grayscale's ZCSH, the first US spot Zcash ETF, lost $93.56 million to outflows in one week, leaving $212.56 million of net inflows since its August launch. Its assets fell further, to about $751 million from a September peak as high as $979 million, with ZEC's price accounting for much of the drop.

Bitwise's first US spot NEAR ETF keeps two-thirds of the network's 5% staking reward for holders

Bitwise's NRR, the first US spot NEAR ETF, stakes its tokens and keeps about 67% of a roughly 5% reward rate for shareholders. After the 0.75% fee, that comes to roughly 2.6% a year in extra tokens, just above NEAR's 2.5% inflation.

Bitwise's fully staked NEAR fund clears NYSE Arca and the SEC for a U.S. listing

Bitwise's NEAR ETF, ticker NRR, cleared NYSE Arca and the SEC on September 24 to list with 100% of its tokens staked, for a 0.75% annual fee. Holders only beat plain price exposure if staking rewards beat that fee, and one listing tells us less about SEC policy on staking than it appears to.

Grayscale splits its Zcash ETF three ways five weeks after listing it

Grayscale will cut ZCSH's NAV per share to a third on Sept. 30. The coin behind the fund went from about $42 a year ago to an intraday $1,521 on Friday, and by one analysis $100 million of the fund's inflow came from a unit of its parent.

Grayscale's ZCSH puts Zcash in brokerage accounts, and none of its ZEC is shielded

The first US spot Zcash product gives brokerage accounts price exposure to a privacy coin while holding its ZEC in transparent custody. Allocators now have to argue the asset, not the access.
