The $213B cash forecast that explains why Salesforce's growth gets 12x
The figure is a single-year read on BofA's Nvidia cash forecast, and it sits at the cautious end. What it really prices is everything growing slower.

Why it matters
Start with how loose the band around $213 billion actually is. BofA's note prices a Nvidia dividend increase at $26 billion to $51 billion and calls that 11% to 21% of CY27 free cash flow [13], which puts CY27 somewhere between roughly $236 billion and $243 billion [2]. The published headline covers two calendar years and averages above $200 billion annually [1]. So $213 billion is the conservative reading of one model rather than an independent estimate. The distance between the two readings, about $40 billion, is close to three times Salesforce's entire annual free cash flow [6].
That is the denominator application software is now measured against. Salesforce carries a market capitalisation of $171.31 billion [c7b] against fiscal 2026 free cash flow, which works out at about 11.9 times [3]. It holds $72.4 billion of remaining performance obligation, up 14% [3], and an Agentforce ARR line that reached $800 million growing 169% by the January close [4]. Trailing cash at 11.9 times sits beneath the multiple BofA presents as a bargain [12].
Sustainable Growth Advisers argues the compression is sentiment rather than weaker business quality [10]. Capital allocation at both companies reads more like agreement with the market's arithmetic. Salesforce authorised $50 billion of repurchases, replacing all previously unused authorisations [5], which is about 29% of its own market value [4]. Nvidia added $80 billion [15], roughly 1.5% of its market capitalisation [5]. One of those is a company that has stopped waiting to be re-rated and started retiring the shares instead.
