UK salmonella outbreak tied to eateries using eggs from multiple suppliers, source still unidentified

UKHSA has 259 confirmed cases, one death, an investigation running since May, and implicated venues that were buying eggs from several suppliers at once, which is the combination that makes a targeted withdrawal impossible.
