Grab pays 3.7 times the week's nine fintech rounds combined for control of Atome

Crowdfund Insider's nine disclosed fintech rounds last week add to $401.4m. Grab is paying $1.49bn for a majority of Atome's lending and buy-now-pay-later book. The largest raise, Kaiko's $110m extension, was led by S&P Global.

S&P Global leads the round in the data provider beneath its own crypto indices

The index house behind the S&P 500 led the investment that took Kaiko to $110 million in total funding. Subtract the three earlier rounds and the new money is about $28 million, going into a partner whose product had already shipped.
