Frank Kuo, who put ALOHAnet's uncoordinated radio channel online in 1971, has died at 91
IEEE Spectrum reports the ALOHAnet codeveloper died on 14 April at 91. The 1971 network let computers on separate Hawaiian islands transmit on one shared UHF channel with no central coordinator.
