Apple opens iOS 27 to iPhones as old as the 11

The rest of the release, per T3: extend and reframe in photo editing, improved image cleanup, an expanded Image Playground, a refresh of Liquid Glass, and stronger child safety controls over what children can access ^[13][14][15].

T3's compatibility list runs to 30 model entries, topping out at the iPhone 17 Pro Max and reaching back to the iPhone 11 and the second-generation SE ^[17]. One version number covers all 30. The article does not say which of the Siri AI features work on the oldest of them ^[19].
