Editors rewrite journalism's century-old ethics code to cover generative AI
The Society of Professional Journalists came out of a June session in Indianapolis with a 967-word draft, 73 words longer than the 2014 code it would replace, and the whole thing stays voluntary, which is the part that decides whether it changes anything.
