LG Innotek will manufacture Aeva's lidar for a European automaker from 2028

LG Innotek plans to mass-produce Aeva lidar for robots next year and for a European automaker in 2028, after investing up to $50 million in the US firm. The stake's roughly 60% gain has not been realized, so any cash return depends on an exclusive Aeva supply deal that runs through 2030.
