Newsom signs a $5,000 per-post fine onto California's 2023 political-disclosure rule

AB 1130 gives the Fair Political Practices Commission power to fine an undisclosed paid political post $5,000 and to refer it to law enforcement. The penalty follows the creator who took the campaign's money.
