In three South African strains, Stellenbosch chemists find the first sign of flavoalkaloids in Cannabis
Stellenbosch chemists found 79 phenolic compounds in Cannabis leaves from three strains, including 16 tentative flavoalkaloids, a class new to the plant. Discarded leaves now merit a strain-by-strain chemical screen, since most of those came mainly from one strain and no activity testing was reported.
