Forest structure tracks Pollino plant composition nearly twice as closely as topography

A variation partitioning study in Italy's Pollino National Park gave forest structure 23.5 percent of the variation in vascular plant composition and topography 12.8 percent, with another 31.3 percent shared between the two.
