AGU steps in to publish the Arctic Report Card after NOAA withdraws its coordination
NOAA says it will keep collecting and releasing Arctic data but will stop running the coordination and review that turned it into an annual peer-reviewed assessment, and AGU, CIRES and the University of Alaska Fairbanks say they will carry the 2026 edition.
