Onsemi ties its GaN ramp to Nvidia's 2027 move to 800-volt racks

Onsemi's GaN chief expects gallium nitride power parts to reach mass production in 2026/27 as Nvidia moves racks to 800 volts from 2027. For buyers, the change sits in one converter inside the power supply, where Onsemi's own high-voltage part is still about a year from volume production.
