Meta's Muse splits commerce platforms between Shopify's open checkout and Amazon's block
Meta launched its Muse agent with national ads as Shopify opened checkout to it and Amazon said it would block it. Expedia's shares fell even after it integrated with Muse, as investors priced the risk that agents cut booking sites out of the sale.
