Affluent Chinese families cut summer education spend to a three-year low of 61,100 yuan
A survey of 277 upper-middle-class households found subject tutoring reaching 84.5% of them, while the share paying more than 100,000 yuan for summer education programmes was 12.5% against the 39.4% recorded in 2024.
