The load-bearing word in the advisory is "similar". Microsoft says the software governing these devices installs drivers or code components with file names similar to inpoutx64, and that launching a particular game trips it [6]. A file name pattern is not a vendor list. It tells you what string to search for on disk, and it tells you that Microsoft is either unable or unwilling to name the peripheral suites that ship the thing.
That reshapes the work. Nobody can open a console, filter by "affected product", and push an uninstall.
