Mast-mounted instrument on NASA's Perseverance rover that determines the mineralogy of rock from reflected light and fires a laser at distant targets to read the chemistry of the resulting plasma. Co-led by Purdue University, Los Alamos National Laboratory, IRAP and CNES.
