Water projections for ten Himalayan river systems extrapolate from relatively few snow measurements
An August glacier collapse killed more than 1,000 people on the Tibet-Nepal border. The author of a phys.org piece, who works with British Antarctic Survey glaciologists, writes that winter snowfall across the range is still measured too sparsely to constrain the models.
