Sources name convicted extortionist Umbreon as the suspect in Dutch ShinyHunters arrest
Three sources told KrebsOnSecurity the 24-year-old held in a Dutch ShinyHunters probe is Pepijn van der Stap, convicted of extortion in 2023. His tie to the group is a Pokemon alias that Krebs's sources say its current leader, a teenager from Amman, may have planted.
