Digital textbooks raise students' intrinsic motivation more than paper across 27 studies
EdUHK and ECNU researchers pooled 27 studies of 3,590 students and found digital textbooks lift intrinsic motivation more than paper ones. The gains grew with educational level, so schools buying for younger pupils have the weakest evidence to work from.
