Google's first orbital AI satellite will run its four TPUs in 15-minute bursts

Google will launch a fridge-sized satellite carrying four TPUs on Oct. 1 to find where its chips fail in orbit. With about a kilowatt of solar power and no price or service date attached, it belongs in the research column of any capacity plan.
