A century of first descriptions redraws a third of the amphibian hotspot map

A new analysis dates the first description of roughly 30,000 land vertebrates decade by decade. Richness peaks are migrating toward Madagascar, Indonesia and Andean cloud forest, which is also where the describers were working.
