Only five of 11 feeding sites around Chad's capital drew Hooded Vultures in a six-month count

Djekillamber Djekadjim's six-month count around N'Djamena found no Hooded Vultures at six of 11 sites and put the area's total at about 113 birds. Food did not predict where they fed, and nearly half of 93 local people interviewed knew of vultures being poisoned.
