An 11-fold Gobi solar build-out would cut northern China's spring dust by 14%, Nanjing modeling finds

Nanjing University modeling finds that expanding Gobi-area solar to almost 11 times its current footprint would cut springtime particulate concentrations across northern China by nearly 14%. Coarse dust rose to 65% of the country's airborne particulate pollution by 2023, from about 55% in 2013.
