A third of 676 students named the dog itself as the meaningful part of a campus visit

Researchers at UBC Okanagan put one open-ended question to 676 students in a drop-in therapy dog program. The dogs themselves came first in the answers, and a sense of connection, named by about 15 percent, was mostly connection with the dog.
