Adaptability quotient (AQ)

Term coined by investor Alec Litowitz for the capacity to notice when one's mental model no longer matches reality and to update and act on a new one before events force the change. He places it alongside IQ and EQ and associates it with three behaviors: metacognition, simulation and experimentation.
