A tooth that arrives with no grave, no layer and no associated pottery has to be interrogated as its own document. Nemanja Markovic and Ana Maricic worked with visual inspection, microscopy and X-ray on fragments that carried no context at all [8]. Wear on the chewing surface put the owner in middle age [9].
